I’m a Creative Director with a background in motion and design, specializing in film and photography, motivated by helping brands and teams grow. I lead pitches, in-house and contract teams, and multiple work streams for video, animation, photo, 3D, illustration, art direction, AI integration and exploration.

Currently working as an Associate Creative Director at Code and Theory, formerly YML, I design and direct content production for some of the world’s biggest brands. I also created and co-host a podcast called Monsters of Design and have been building a YouTube channel all about my newfound love for hunting and fishing called The Curious Hunter.

I grew up making super hero and adventure movies in the backyard, skate videos with friends, and music videos for local bands. I cut my teeth as a young editor going from my parents’ digital 8mm camcorder to their VCR, with a boombox plugged into the audio cable to add music.

After taking a dark room photography class in high school, I never looked back, falling in love with light, color, and composition. The depth and texture that only film can offer continues to push the look, feel, and quality of work in everything I create. This dark room class is where I discovered Photoshop, opening up the doors to a whole new world of creativity through graphic design.

I began freelancing right out of high school, focusing mostly on design and branding, but the eventual rise of DSLR cameras opened up a path back toward photography and video. I quickly shifted gears, building on my foundation as a designer. I started filming, editing, animating, and eventually quit my job to open up my own video and photography studio, Conjure Pictures, including a side business creating wedding films for couples all over the world with my wife as The Sunday Saloon.

I still occasionally direct and produce personal projects like music videos, documentaries, and photography through Conjure, but am primarily focused on building and growing the content studio at Code and Theory.

My dream is to write and direct a Superman movie. The 1978 film with Christopher Reeve is still one of my favorite movies of all time.
